Each year SCARN partners with a university to host the Annual Aging Research Day, a state-wide research conference focused on aging-related issues. This year, USC will host the 13th Annual Aging Research Day on April 7, 2017 at the Hilton Columbia Center in downtown Columbia. We anticipate attracting researchers, practitioners, students, and older community members to this year’s conference, themed “Health and Technology Supports for Aging-in-Place.”
We are pleased to announce that Wendy Rogers, PhD will be our keynote speaker. Dr. Rogers has recently assumed the Khan Professorship in Applied Health Sciences at the University of Illinois. We are thrilled to have Dr. Rogers present “Technology Design for Successful Aging: Support for Social Engagement.”
